Jaylen Wells Erupts for 51, Shaedon Sharpe Electrifies SFU Crowd
Vancouver brought the energy and the stars delivered. Two weeks after a sold-out showcase in Toronto, the Ball Don’t Stop: Pro-Am rolled into BC for another unforgettable night of high-level hoops. Held at Simon Fraser University, this year’s Vancouver edition featured NBA firepower, a packed house, and a breakout performance that has the whole basketball world talking.
Jaylen Wells Turns Heads With 51-Point Statement
Memphis Grizzlies rookie Jaylen Wells entered the Pro-Am as a low-key second-round pick, but he left as the name on everyone’s lips. The 6’7 forward lit up the court with a 51-point explosion, showcasing a complete and polished skill set that had scouts, fans, and even his opponents buzzing.
Wells delivered a clinic in versatility, knocking down threes, defending at a high level, backing defenders down in the post, and moving with fluidity across all areas of the floor. His performance wasn’t just impressive, it was a message: the Grizzlies may have landed the steal of the 2024 draft.
