Community, Culture & Kickoffs: 456 x XEIST Back-to-School Giveaway
This past Saturday, September 2nd, Montgomery Park in Hamilton came alive with purpose, energy, and love as XEIST proudly joined forces with our friends at 456 Kicks for their Annual Back-to-School Giveaway, a day built for the community, by the community.
Free Backpacks: Supporting the Next Generation
At the heart of the event was one clear goal: equip kids with the tools they need to thrive. With 500 free backpacks handed out on a first-come, first-served basis, the smiles said it all. Families lined up early to make sure their children would head back to school prepared, confident, and excited. It was a moment of relief for many, and a reminder of what happens when a community shows up for its own.
Fresh Cuts & Fresh Starts
Barbers set up shop under open skies, offering free haircuts for kids heading into the school year. More than just a trim, these cuts were about confidence, helping young people feel their best as they step into a new chapter. It was a small act with a big impact.
3x3 Basketball Tournament: $1000 on the Line
No community event is complete without competition, and the 3x3 basketball tournament delivered. Teams battled it out for a $1,000 cash prize, bringing serious heat to the court. The energy was electric, the crowd was loud, and the players left it all out there. Win or lose, the real victory was in the celebration of skill, unity, and sportsmanship.
Partnering with 456 Kicks was about standing beside leaders making a difference where it matters most. Events like this remind us that impact begins at home.
