Power in Pink: U of T Women's Basketball
In January, XEIST proudly partnered with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues Women’s Basketball Team in support of U SPORTS’ 17th annual 'Shoot for the Cure', a national campaign uniting basketball programs across Canada in the fight against breast cancer.
A Purpose-Driven Jersey for a Powerful Cause
As part of the initiative, the Varsity Blues took the court in limited-edition ‘Think Pink’ jerseys, created in collaboration with XEIST. Designed with intention and meaning, the jerseys were more than a statement, they were a show of solidarity, strength, and support for those impacted by breast cancer.

U SPORTS 'Shoot for the Cure': A Legacy of Impact
Since its inception in 2007, ‘Shoot for the Cure’ has raised over $1.6 million for the Canadian Cancer Society and local cancer foundations. The campaign is a testament to the power of sport to drive change, foster community, and raise critical funds for life-saving research.
By stepping onto the court in pink, the Varsity Blues joined dozens of other programs across the country in using basketball as a platform for good. Their efforts, paired with fan engagement and fundraising activities, helped push the mission forward.
